We want to keep your own teeth for as long as possible
What restorative dentistry is

Gentle treatment built on micro-invasive preparation

Preventive check-ups are the cornerstone of restorative dentistry — they are worth having at least once a year, and at our clinic they are covered by health insurance. When removing decay or preparing teeth for prosthetic work (veneers, crowns or bridges) we place great emphasis on the smallest, gentlest preparation possible. Decay is therefore always removed under local anaesthetic, using micro-burs under a microscope or with loupes at the appropriate magnification.

When is restorative treatment the right choice?

  • You have decay or a tooth is hurting

  • An old or leaking filling needs replacing

  • A tooth has been damaged by injury or extensive decay

  • Part of a tooth is missing and you are considering a crown or bridge

  • You want to prevent problems with regular check-ups

Treatment process

How restorative treatment works

  1. 1) Preventive check-up and diagnosis

We assess the condition of your teeth and gums, take an X-ray where needed and pick up decay even at its earliest stage.

  2. 2) Treatment proposal

We explain the findings in plain language and propose the gentlest possible solution — from a filling to prosthetic work.

  3. 3) Gentle removal of decay

We remove decay under local anaesthetic using micro-burs under a microscope or with loupes, so that as much healthy tissue as possible is preserved.

  4. 4) Filling or prosthetic work

We restore the tooth with a composite filling, or work with our laboratory to make a partial crown, a crown or a bridge. For crowns we now prefer all-ceramic — they are indistinguishable from your own teeth.

  5. 5) Check and prevention

We verify the bite and the seal of the restoration, and agree a date for your next preventive check-up.

Doporučuji🤝

Velmi milý a ochotný kolektiv. Chodíme moc rádi. 🤩🫠

Answers to the questions patients ask before their visit

At least once a year. Regular prevention is the basis of a healthy set of teeth, and at our clinic it is covered by health insurance.
No. Decay is always removed under local anaesthetic, as gently as possible, using micro-burs under magnification.
A metal-ceramic crown has a metal inner shell with ceramic applied over it and has been the standard for many years. The grey metal inside, however, affects the final colour of the tooth. An all-ceramic crown is made purely of individually layered ceramic, looks entirely natural and is indistinguishable from your own teeth — which is why we now prefer it.
If decay has reached the pulp, root canal treatment may be needed, which we carry out under a microscope. Even then our aim is to save the tooth.
Preventive check-ups are covered. For fillings and prosthetic work the cover depends on the material chosen — we explain everything in advance, including the price.
