MUDr. Michal Bumbálek, Ph.D.

His studies were followed first by practice at St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno. He then decided to make use of his languages and accepted a placement in northern Italy, working both in private practice with MUDr. Třešňák and in the public sector at Krankenhaus Bruneck – Sprengel Picolin. It was in Italy that he decided to focus on endodontics.

In 2012 he returned to Brno and founded his own private dental centre there. In 2019 he modernised and expanded the centre and moved it to the clinic at Durďákova 48, where it remains today.

At his dental centre MUDr. Michal Bumbálek, Ph.D. offers his patients comprehensive care at a high professional standard, a personal approach and painless treatment. He considers dental hygiene and prevention the most important disciplines in his field. He specialises above all in aesthetics, microscopic endodontics, prosthetic dentistry and implantology. He is a member of several professional societies — the Czech Endodontic Society, the German Endodontic Society, the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and the EAO (European Association for Osseointegration). He speaks fluent English and German.

Continuing education has remained a matter of course for him. Alongside developing his knowledge at Czech and international congresses, he completed postgraduate study at Charles University in Prague in 2022.

MUDr. Michal Bumbálek, Ph.D. holds that a dentist's education is never finished. He passes on what he learns from his placements abroad: he runs theoretical training and practical courses for young dentists at the centre and takes on a dental student for a placement every year.
